Hi everyone, I've just gotten into Gintama fairly recently thanks to *cough* Harada's doujinshi *cough*. I'm somewhere in the 500's where the manga chapters are concerned, I think, but I'm not watching the anime (yet, at least). Is... is anyone still alive around here? ;_;

I think Otae/Kyuubei is like, the one Gintama ship I would fight people over - everything else I can be persuaded on by the right art/fic/etc. I tend towards Gin/Zura a little, but Zura is my fandom little black dress (ie, goes great with everything ;))

Oh yeahhh, I completely forgot about Otae/Kyuubei! Man I was so upset with that genderswitch chapter, take away her happiness why don't you ;_; I guess Sorachi couldn't handle het so he had to keep Kyuubei as "female" lol. Seriously, the amount of GLBT stuff he puts in...

I find Zura kinda annoying but at the same time it's refreshing how weird and "out of it" he is compared to everyone else... of course all the chars are weird but he feels special somehow lol.

Zura's hit his head a few too many times, I think :P Him and Kondou - when they get to be cool or badass, you know things have gotten super-serious. I love all the Joi boys though because 'more honor and loyalty than common sense' is one of my favorite character traits.
